Request; Fields Of Gold

Fields of Gold tin whistle tabs

Upon request, here is 'Fields of Gold' by Sting. You'll have to excuse me as I am not familliar with the song and there are bound to be errors, and theres a good chance that I probably missed the mark entirely. Once again I didn't do spacing that well, and this more because I am not familiar with the song. If you are familiar with the song I think you should be able to piece together any bits I did wrong.

Donkey Kong Country 2; Rigging/Jib Jig

(This is not a jig. At least, I don't think so. I haven't exactly got around to learning what defines a jig is yet...)
I decided that I won't completely abandon this blog, so here's my next tune. At this stage if you don't know the tune to determine playing speed and such I recommend you just youtube it. I do plan to record me doing some which I will then link with every new tune. I am copying the notes through multiple documents, which is why I get weird gaps. I also think I should mention; Click the image to bring it up larger.

I promise I will not do only tunes from videogames as well! It's just that I personally had difficulty finding these  tunes that I wanted to play so I figured at least one other might be having the same problem.

'The Legend of Zelda; The Wind Waker' Theme

This is a 'rough version' of sorts, don't by any means stick to it exactly (As with most tin whistle tunes). Its a good basis and I'm decently happy with it but you might be able to get a better sound with some experimenting. It's only the first part of the theme, I will do the other part (I believe that's the violin part in the proper theme) on request.

On another note - First post! Feel free to suggest any tune you'd like to see here. For something traditional head on to the session for the abc's. I'll try to fill this blog with some 'alternative' whistle tunes. A version of this song is performed on tin whistle here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRv8gnBMiWM - I do believe the notes there are better then the ones here but I've had little success in finding what he used.
